What comes before trees? Training!

Submit your application now for the Fall training classes to get to know trees in our urban environment. You’ll learn: 

• tree anatomy and identification
• how to plant
• how to prune
• how to help trees threatened by pests or weeds
• which tree to plant where
• how to educate your neighbors about the TREEmendous benefits of healthy trees
• where you can volunteer to make an impact for trees
• fascinating facts about trees

Independent, self-guided study will introduce you to seven Sunday afternoon sessions with your classmates and expert trainers in the field, where you’ll get hands-on practice in the care of trees. Our training summary and answers to frequently asked questions are here.

Fill out our online application and submit it by July 26th. We’ll be in touch with you in early August so you can plan ahead for sessions that start on Sunday, Sept. 13, and conclude on Sunday, Nov. 1.
